Inez Lapsis

LAPSIS, Inez S. Inez S. Lapsis, 77, of Canton CT, formerly of Southington CT, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010. A graduate of New Britain High School and the Grace-New Haven School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse working at New Britain General Hospital and later at Monsignor Bojnowski Manor, New Britain. She leaves behind her son Jack Donlan and his wife Katherine of Burlington, CT and their children Matthew and Kelly, her daughter Patrice Eleveld and her husband Jeffrey and their children Carley and Kira, her sister Alberta Martino and brother-in-law Ronald of Niantic and two nieces Christine and Laura. She was predeceased by her husband Alexander J. Lapsis. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 9:30 a.m., from Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at Burritt Hill.
