In 1801 census can be found Ingeri Knudsdtr servent age 20, single. Living on farm Qvamsøe.

In looking at the Vik bygdebok (volume 1 page 78) it does say that the Knut Botolvson born in 1755 was married to Gjertrud Markusdatter. It also says he had a daughter Ingri who was unmarried at the time of her mother's death.

The 1801 census for Vik and the Kvamsøy (Qvamsøe) parish area. At that time period the Balestrand area was called a part of Vik. In looking at various records it appears that Ingri Knutsdatter Tennefoss was working on the Kvamsøy/Qvamsøe farm in 1801 as a servant and this isn’t very far from the Kallestad husmann place. Very likely this is how Anders Olson made contact with her.
