Irene M. Mehr , 68, died Jan. 17, 2001, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 20, at St. Martin Catholic Church. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Irene was born in Freeport to Joseph and Clara (Linn) Loch. She married Frank X. Mehr on Oct. 9, 1950, in St. Francis de Sale' Catholic Church, Belgrade. She was a homemaker and worked part time at Cash Wise in St. Cloud. She was a member of the St. Martin Rosary Sodality, the St. Benedict's Society, and the St. Ann's Christian Mothers.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; children: Duane of Richmond; Boni Heinen of St. Martin, Debi Imdieke of Greenwald, Vicki Imdieke of St. Cloud, Cindi Brink of Monticello, and Dale of St. Martin; a sister, Averna Welle of Spring Hill; a brother, Urban Loch of Belgrade; and 21 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Donald Mehr; brothers: Gene, Herb, Elmer, Victor; and a sister, Lucille Kampsen.
