About Isaac Monroe Drury
This deed made and entered into this 23rd day of June AD 1854 by and between Alfred Pope and Sidney J. Pope his wife party of the first part of the County of Putnam said State of Missouri and Isaac Drury party of the second part of the County of Rockiland & State of Illinois Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand Dollars to them in hand paid by the party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and Conveyed and Confirm unto the said party of the second his heirs and assigns forever the following Described real Estate lying and being situated in the County of Putnam and state of Missouri to Wit, East half of the North West quarter of Section No (23) twenty three Eighty acres and the West half of the South East, & the North East South West quarter of Section No fifteen (15) Township No sixty six (66) of Range no Nineteen (19) Containing two hundred acres in all more or less to have and to hold the same with all the rights privileges appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any is so appertaining unto the said Isaac Drury the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. The said Alfred Pope and Sidney J. Pope his wife party of the first part hereby Covenanting that their heirs and assigns will Warrant and forever Deferred the title to the said premises and every part thereof to the said Isaac Drury party of the second part his heirs and assigns the lawful claim of all and every person whomsoever.

County of Putnum Be it remembered that on this day personally affixed before me the undersigned Clerk of the Circuit Court in & for said County & State aforesaid Alfred Pope and Sidney J. Pope his wife personally Known to me be the persons whose name are subscribed to the foregoing deed of Conveyance as parties thereto and severally acknowledged the signing & sealing of the same to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therin Contained. And the said Sidney Pope being by me made acquainted with the Contents of said deed of Conveyance acknowledge on an Examination apart from here said husband that the she executed and delivered the same and relinquished her dower in the real Estate therein mentioned freely voluntarily & without Compulsion or undue influence of her said husband.
