Isaac Johnson, the son of Isaac Johnson and Elizabeth Porter, was baptized at Roxbury, Massachusetts Bay Colony on 7 January 1744, and died on 3 Feb 1720 at age 75 in Middletown, Hartford, Connecticut. He was buried in the Old North Burying Ground in Middlefield.

Isaac Johnson, Jr. of Roxbury married Mary Harris there on 26 October 1669. Mary Harris was the daughter of Daniel Harris and Mary Weld, born on 2 Apr 1651 in Rowley, Essex, Massachusetts Bay. She survived Isaac as his widow and died 1 Aug 1740 at age 89 in Middletown, Hartford, Connecticut.

They moved to Middletown CT by 1670 when their first son was born. They were farmers.

His will, calling himself Isaac Johnson, Sr., dated 13 January 1719/20, mentions:

  • son Isaac, son Daniel, son Joseph, the heirs of son Nathaniel, deceased,
  • daughter Elizabeth Johnson, and daughter Mary Blake.

Savage notes that "he left a good estate."[4]

Mary never remarried after her husbands death.
