His will is dated October, 19-29 1544 and was proved February 22, 1545. He was buried in the churchyard in Wiston, England. He is buried in a churchyard in Wiston, Nayland, Suffolk, England.

Isabel Legh of Lyme, daughter of Robert and Isabella was born abt. 1440 in Holford, Cheshire, England.
