Isabel Willoughby

Biography

Isabel Annesley, daughter of Sir High Annesley (d. 13 Sep 1429) and his wife Benedicta Babington, married Edmond Willoughby, son of Sir Edmund Willoughby (d. a. 1403) and his wife Isabel Pole.

Their children include:

1. Sir Hugh Willoughby, Sheriff of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, & Lincolnshire+2,3,4 b. c 1380 / 1390. Married 1) Isabella Foljambe 2) Margaret Freville

She was apparently upon a visit at Raby when her Will was made, or perhaps she had found there, under the Earl of Westmorland, and his Countess, Joan Plantagenet, daughter of John of Gaunt, an honorable asylum in her widowhood.
