His memorial ID is 46312755), William Henry, Manerva Jane, Thomas Jefferson, Nancy Ellen Elizabeth, Geroge Washington, Millard Fillmore, Jesse R, and Mary Adeline. Two otehr half brothers: Dial Blackwood and Andrews Blackwood.

He married Sarah "Sally" Adell Curlin Crabtree on Oct 31, 1880 in Black River, Independence, Arkansas. Her parents are John Crabtree and Mipouri Jane (Mary) Pullman. Her sibling was Eva A Blair.

Sally and Isom had the following children: Zue Higgs, Maud Higgs Green, Lois Higgs (Louis), Jana Higgs, Arizona "Zonar" Higgs Green, Marcie Higgs Smith, Luther Higgs, Lewell Higgs & Jewell Higgs Dirickson.

From contributor Mike Higgs (48262021) to me: the last know place he lived was in Calvin Oklahoma. He was widowed at the time and it is commonly thought that he is buried at the Calvin Cemetery however there doesn't seem to be any paper trail
