16 March 1660: Contract between John Campbell, younger of Glenurchay, and dame Isobel McIntoische, relict of Sir Robert Campbell of Glenurchay, kt, bt, his grandmother, whereby said John dispones to said Isobel in liferent lands of Inchadeane, Dalmartin, Portlochtay, with orchard and dwellinghouse called the isle of Lochtay, with others, extending in all to 12½ merkland, in place of what was agreed upon in her marriage contract, the latter lands being presently occupied by Colin Campbell of Moccaster; as she would prefer to live in Breadalbane, near her children and oy, they have come to this agreement 'for escheweing of debait question, action or contraversie of law that micht in this caice aryse betuix her and these descendit of her loyndis'.
