17 November 1657: Letter from Alexander Campbell of Lochdochart and John Campbell of Kinloch to David Murray, apothecary in Perth. Balloch, 17 November 1657: "The laird of Glenurquhy my father being at the poynt of removeing from this vaill of miserie to eternall happiness and we being band on dewtie to dischairge our last service to him, hes made our recourse to yow Requesting ye may be pleasit to send up with the bearar presentlie one sight heirof ane scheircloth and so much holland as his body may be wraptit in together with so much pulders as will preserve his corps from putrifaction for ten days space". 16 March 1660: Contract between John Campbell, younger of Glenurchay, and dame Isobel McIntoische, relict of Sir Robert Campbell of Glenurchay, kt, bt, his grandmother, whereby said John dispones to said Isobel in liferent lands of Inchadeane, Dalmartin, Portlochtay, with orchard and dwellinghouse called the isle of Lochtay, with others, extending in all to 12½ merkland, in place of what was agreed upon in her marriage contract, the latter lands being presently occupied by Colin Campbell of Moccaster; as she would prefer to live in Breadalbane, near her children and oy, they have come to this agreement 'for escheweing of debait question, action or contraversie of law that micht in this caice aryse betuix her and these descendit of her loyndis'. Heraldry of the Campbells

Sir Robert Campbell of Glenorchy, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1580. He was the son of Sir Duncan Campbell of Glenorchy, 1st Bt. and Lady Jean Stewart. A contract for the marriage of Sir Robert Campbell of Glenorchy, 3rd Bt. and Isabel Macintosh was signed on 16 December 1605.1,2 He died after 1647.

Sir Robert Campbell of Glenorchy, 3rd Bt. was also known as Robert Campbell of Glenfalloch. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Argyllshire [Scotland] between 1639 and 1641.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Campbell, of Glenorchy, co. Perth [N.S., 1625] on 6 September 1640. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Argyllshire [Scotland] from 1643 to 1644. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Argyllshire [Scotland] between 1644 and 1649. He also had eight daughters.
