Ivar Amundsson Uppigard-Sør-Sandbu

I.Kleiven: I gamle daagaa, som finst på Deichmanske i Oslo er det med ei ukjent hånd skrivi til dette på side 305. "Ivar Ogmundson Gjesling, død på Lesja og ble begravet der i 1634,Epitaphium av tre fandtes i Folldals kirke i 1914.Er antagelig blitt med da den gamle kirke paa Lesja ble flyttet til Folldal"

I 1607 var han lensmann i Vågå,eit ombud som han truleg hadde hatt nokre år,Han budde på Harildstad til ikring 1600,Då flutte han åt Sandbu og leigde bort Harildstad åt frenden sin Amund Engebretsson Fougner.

Han var i 1615 den største jordeigaren i Vågå.
