A SICK MAN LEAVES HIS BED AND RUNS AROUND THE FOURTH WARD.

Joseph Jezewski, a married man with five or six children, living in the Fourth ward, has been ill for some time, from the effects of which his mind had become deranged and it was necessary to have watchers. On Wednesday morning early he turned to the watchers and informed them that as he was getting so much better there was no necessity for them to remain with him any longer and advised them to go home and get some rest. They did as requested, and no sooner had they left the house than the sick man arose, and, without hat or shoes and but scantily clad, started on a run around the ward. When found he was some ten blocks from his house. His hands and feet were frozen and the shook to his system was so great that he died on Thursday morning. He was a member of the St. Stanislaus Society, as also of the Polish Dramatic Club, and under the auspices of these societies his funeral will take place on Sunday.
