About Jacob G. Brull
Jacob G. Brull, 88, 406 West 13th, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony Hospital where he had been a patient one day.
He was a retired farmer and a resident of Hays since 1954.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna B. Brull, July 2, 1967.
Survivors include 14 children. Sons are Ralph and Robert of Hays, Alois of Miami, Fla., Gabe of Kansas City, Mo., Richard of Basehor, Kan., Julius of Las Vegas, Nev., Tony, Los Angeles, Calif., Elmer of Houston, Tex., and Willis of Lucas, Kan.
Daughters are Mrs. Adolph (Beatrice) Rome, Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Emery (Bernadine) Flaherty of Wichita, Miss Martina Brull of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. August (Philomena) Lowe of Topeka, and Mrs. Marshall (Mary Ann) Garneau of Denver, Colo.
Other survivors include three brothers, Adam Brull of Two Rivers, Wis., Joe Brull of Kansas City, Kan., and Isidor Brull of Hays; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Dechant of Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Mike Arnold, Mrs. Vernon Moore and Mrs. Andrew Dinkel, all of Hays; 34 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Brull will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s Church here. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state from 7:30 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service. Brock’s North Hill Chapel is in charge.
