Jacob married Susanna Yager (Klaar) before 1721 in Virginia. Together they had the following 5 children:

1. Christopher Crigler;
2. Susannah Utz (Crigler);
3. Nicholas Crigler;
4. Elizabeth Yager (Crigler);
5. Michael Crigler.

He died in 1734 in Germanna, Spotsylvania, Virginia, USA.
