About Jacob Hoffert
Jacob married Katherine and lived in Sunhofer Alsace. He came to America and lived with a son in Chicago until he came to Iowa to live with his son, Friedrick, in his later years.
Jacob was a small slightly built man.
The evening he died the family was having a party-dance, he was not feeling well, so he retired early. Lather when grandson Carl Hoffert went ot check on him, he was dead.
