Jacob JOSPEHSON was born 21/4/1782 Poland (son of Joseph Lazarus JOSEPHSON and Rachel TACHYCZOWSKI)
Jacob married Emma MOSES on 25/2/1814 in Hamburg, Germany and they had the following children
- 1815 Joshua Frey
- 1818 Lewis - died young
On 13/10/1817 in Oxford England, Jacob was convicted of having forged bank notes and sentenced to 14 years transportation. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 15/5/1818 on "Neptune". His wife and children followed him arriving on "Morley" in 1821
After his wife arrived, they had the following children
- 1821 Emmanuel "Manuel" Francis
- 1821 Frances Catherine
- 1824 Isaac John
Jacob died 6/12/1845 Marrickville, Sydney, Australia
