August 19, 1762, James and Joseph Scott, orphan sons of John Scott choose their uncle, David Scott, as their guardian.

Jacob Scott served as a spy and a private in the Rev. War in Monongalia Co., WV, according to DAR Record #160772 Vol 161 pg 243.

Was called Jacob Scott of Redbridge Tract.
