1. Polly Hess [no dates but it appears that she is not living in 1827] is the second wife of Jacob Zeigler. According to Mrs. Mildred Donley Jacob Zeigler (1782-1824) drowned at Meyersdale just before Henry was born. The will lists her as the wife of Jacob Zeigler & then lists the 5 children born to Jacob Zeigler. The children of Polly listed in the will are:
[1.]Elizabeth [b. 1814? marries Moses Lambert],
[2.]Polly [will not marry],
[3.]Catherine [marries George Feaster],
[4.]Peggy [Margaret b. 1820 FAG #10499565-marries Andrew Reiman & settles in IL],
[5.]Henry [Fishertown][b. 1823 FAG #113025268 marries Susan Keller].
2. His daughter Catharine [no dates but it appears that she is not living in 1827] married Jacob Ziegler and their children are:
[1.]Sarah [Sally-will marry David Ross of Shanksville],
[2.]John [marries Hannah Ross], and
[3.]Jacob [marries Elisabeth Reiman]. Catharine is the first wife of Jacob Zeigler. Her two sons (grandsons of Henry) receive land yet other grandsons do not receive land.
