Jacobus Lambrecht (1955 - 2020)

Brief overview:

Jacobus (65), an employee on Sunlands Farms in the Pongola area, KZN, was found murdered on the kitchen of the house, on 15th June 2020. He was gagged, feet tied up with masking tape, hands with a cellphone charger cable. The perpetrator gained entry to the property through a cut fence. Investigators found the door to the house wide open.

The murderer stole his bag, three pairs of shoes, three firearms and safe keys, and fled in Jacobus' vehicle. The vehicle was found abandoned later the same day on the N2 freeway in Mkhuze.

A 24-year-old male was arrested on 16th June, and appeared in the Ubombo Magistrate’s Court on June 19th 2020.
