Jacqueline Davis, 80, former ly of Hillsboro Dr., Marietta, died at 8:45 p.m. April 14, 2005 at Marietta Center.
She was born May 19, 1924 to Theodore and Lettie Holland Brannan. She had sold antiques and loved to read, loved animals and loved to joke around with people.
She is survived by her daugh ter, Victoria Cooper of Big Pine Key, Fla.; grandson, who she helped raise, Sean Quaint (Lissa) of Deerborn Heights, Mich.; great-grandsons, Dylan and Lo gan Quaint; brother, Ted Bran nan (Nancy) of Marietta; sister, Joanne Long (William) of Lagu na Hills, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preced ed in death by her husband, John Howard Davis on Nov. 24, 2001; they had been married on Aug. 7, 1946, and also by a daughter, Tonya Dale Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2005, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jack Neil son officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. Burial will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Cuya hoga Falls.
