James Arthur Johnson

In 1959, Katherine Goble married James A. Johnson, a United States Army officer and veteran of the Korean War; the pair were married until James' death in March 2019 at the age of 93.[22][30][31] Johnson, who had six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, lived in Hampton, Virginia.[32] She encouraged her grandchildren and students to pursue careers in science and technology.
