James Benge

It is not clear whether James died in Kent before leaving for NZ or not long after arrival to New Zealand in 1841. All that is listed in the family history is 2 daughters Emma and Elizabeth and John was the first white child born in NZ four months after arrival in NZ, born in a tent on the Petone Foreshore
