James Branagan [Convict "Charlotte" 1788]

James BRANAGAN (aka BRANNAGAN, BRANNEGAN, BRANEGAN) was born c1757

James was convicted of assault and highway robbery (with Robert BRUCE and James MURRAY) and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Charlotte"

On 4/3/1790 sent to Norfolk Island on "Sirius"

On 22 March 1790 with William DRING started a fire on "Sirius"

James disappeared on 14 December 1791
