James Dunne, age 67, Sewer contractor for many years, dies.

James Dunne of 224 Proctor Street, a Peoria resident for over 50 years, died Wednesday at St. Francis hospital where he had been a patient since September 30.

Mr. Dunne was born in Ireland on June 29, 1878, a son of Thomas and Johanna Dunne. He married Hanna Meaney in Peoria 38 years ago. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Thomas, James Jr, and Joseph all of Peoria; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Carroll and Mrs. Josephine Tully, both of Peoria; four brothers, Thomas and John Dunne of Peoria, Larry Dunne of New York City, and Patrick Dunne of Ireland; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral mass at St John's Church with burial in St. Mary's cemetery, Peoria.
