Lawrence Dunne

Larry was reportedly killed in a tunneling accident in New York. Initially buried in a pauper's grave, he was eventually reinterred to a marked grave through the efforts of his sister Anne Dunne (Carroll). Date of death is currently unknown.

Larry was living with John Dunne and his wife Mary and children and her sister Maggie Butler in Peoria in the 1910 Census, see document.

Larry was drafted in 1917. His place of birth was Brownstown, Co. Kilkenny. He was described as being tall, of medium build with brown eyes and black hair. However on the WW2 Draft he is described as having blue eyes, being 5 foot 9 and a half inches and with grey hair. He is unemployed.
