James Hale
HALE, James Ova 85, Xenia, passed away Tuesday evening, August 31, 2004, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born December 21, 1918, in Scranton, Kentucky, the son of Dean and Rose Osborn Hale. He resided in Xenia for 46 years, member of the First Assembly of God, and married Pearl (Back) Hale, December 21, 1939 and she preceded in death on November 3, 2001. He is survived by four children and spouses, James Matthew Hale, Xenia, Carolyn (Bill) Herren, West Milton, Peggy (Paul) Lakes, Xenia, and Phillip (Elaine) Hale, Xenia, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a sister, Dale Hayes, Wellington, Ky., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be held at 10:30am, Friday, September 3, at the First Assembly of God, 204 E. Market St., Xenia, with Rev. Ronald L. Swiger officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Thursday at the Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God.
