Obituary for James E. Jolliffe. Morganton Dominion News. Tues., June 13, 1972:

Excerpt-- James E. Jolliffe, 79, former resident of Morgantown, died Friday in a Baltimore, Md. hospital. He was born in Mannington, Dec. 9, 1892, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Jolliffe, who came to Morgantown in 1910 to make their home. He attended WVU and in 1930 married Miss. Pearle Smith of Parkersburg, and Springfield, Ohio. The couple later moved to Oil City, Pa., and in 1943, moved to Baltimore. He is survived by his widow, Pearle Smith Jolliffe; a sister, Mrs. Henry C. Shaid of Moorestown, N.J., and a brother, O. Paul Jolliffe, of Baltimore. Burial will follow in the Mount Union Cemetery.
