James Kenyon was born in about 1633, perhaps, in Glodwick, Lancashire, England.
He was a weaver by trade.[1]
Marriage
He married Esther Smith, daughter of John Smith and Joane, on 21 May 1654 at Oldham Glodwick, Lancashire, England.
Children:

- James KENYON b. 4 Jul 1657,[2]
- Mary KENYON b. 20 May 1660, Oldham, Lancashire, England, buried: 19 Nov 1665, Oldham, Lancashire, England.[2]
- unknown buried: 19 Nov 1665. In the burial register of the Oldham Parish Church it shows that on 19-Nov- 1665 a child of James Kenyon was buried.[2] No means of identifying.
