JAMES LESLIE OF LUMQUHAT
James Leslie of Lumquhat had a disposition, 12 March 1669, of the lands of Lumquhat to himself as lawful son of Sir John Leslie of Newton, and in name and behalf of Janet Dick, his spouse, and their eldest son John. He died in October 1675, testament confirmed 27 October 1682. He married Janet, daughter of William Dick of Grange, and by her had at least one son. The Scots Peerage V: 388
