The Wrights, McKees, Camerons, and Martins intermarried frequently. The Potts also intermarried with the McKees. There also seems to have been parallel migration - where some members of each family traveled west from County Down or County Armagh to variously County Tyrone or County Monaghan.
A James McKee / Margaret Cameron marriage, taking place in County Down, is a strong hint that both the Camerons and the McKees that wound up in County Monaghan came from there. Later, in the early 1800's, there are also Cameron baptisms and marriages centered around Tullyraine, so we know that not all the Camerons went west - and not all the McKees did either.
The interesting thing is that there is already a known James McKee / Margaret marriage - but it's to Margaret Orr, and the family is very well filled out - almost too well; there are multiple children of the same name. See: James Etheridge McKee .
