About James Shirra
James travelled to Australia in 1911, worked in Sydney, before travelling to Brisbane.
Soon after arriving he met and married Elizabeth Moore. They lived at Cleveland St Stones Corner until August 1927 and moved to a business at Ridge Street, Greenslopes until February 1950 when they moved to 34 Clive St, Annerley until he died in Brisbane on 25th October 1977.
