About James ll Schaw of Sauchie
"SIR JAMES SCHAW OF SAUCHIE, succeeded his father and had a charter from James, Lord Haliburton, for the lands of Auchengownie, in the barony of Forgandenny, on 2 February, 1502.
John Schaw of Alva and Knockhill Is shown as second son of Sir James Schaw of Sauchie and his wife Isobel. So there must have been a first.
James Sauchie of Sauchie and Greenock was heir to his grandfather of Sauchie, so was probably oldest son of oldest son.
