"March, 2007 -- despite days of searching, BRH has not been able to connect Jane James to Thos Broadnax with certainty, beyond the citation in the Broadnax Kentish Genealogy. Similarly, an unattached Jane James of a suitable age has not been found, certainly not from Ightham, Kent.

Then, Brodnax / By Mildred Seab Ezell /Published by Henry Doss Brodnax, Jr., 1995 p.43 states: "...He married Jane, only daughter and heir of Henry Kule, and had issue l. William James. his heir. ll. Jane James. m in 1625, Thomas Brodnax Esq..."
