Comments

Another undocumented piece of information that is often quoted is that Henry married Jane Jones, daughter of Rev. Rowland Jones. There is very little evidence of this beyond Jane naming of a son "Henry Gooch" in her will. Though there is no doubt Jane married a "Gooch", it is not clear which Gooch she married, though no doubt she had some connection to Henry as reflected in the naming pattern of her children.
