Jane Rogers Farrar Vaiden Moss (Ford)

Jane was born the daughter of Thomas Ford and Keturah Wynne in Goochland County, Virginia.

She first married Hugh Moss on 1 June 1768 in Goochland. Captain Moss died from injuries suffered at the Battle of the Brandywine.

She next married John Vaiden on 1 February 1781 in Goochland; he also died in the Revolution.

Her third husband was Joseph Royall Farrar whom she married about 1783 in Virginia.

They came to Fayette County in 1785. Their farm, on land now part of Patchen Wilkes Farm, was called Tuckahoe after a Farrar family home in Virginia.

Joseph Royall Farrar died in May 1796.

Jane married, fourth, Joseph Hale Rogers before mid November of that year.
