Jane was fourteen years young than John. John was thirty-eight and Jane was twenty-four.

!NOTE:

Although Jane is not mentioned in her father's will, it was not unheard of for a man of the yeoman class at the time, to pass over an unmarried daughter in his will without giving a reason for such action. Perhaps, John Moore did not approve of his daughter's association with the Quakers and was omitted from his will.

! Jane Moor died in Ridley 9 mo. 1, 1722.

! John Sharpless died 4 mo., 11, 1685 in Ridley Township near Chester, Pa. His wife and family remained on the property near Ridley Creek and laid the foundations of a long line of descendants in America. Jane Moor, his wife, was born in 1638 and died in Ridley 9 mo., 1, 1722 after raising a large family and suffering the rigors of her life. It is believed that all Sharpless in the U.S. are descendants of John, James and Joseph, sons of John and Jane Sharpless.
