Velda Janet Sehi

Janet Sehi, 68, of rural Montrose, Illinois, died at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Rose Catholic Church, Montrose, with burial in the church Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a 7 p.m. parish wake service. Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Franciscans Retirement Fund or of the donor's choice.

Mrs. Sehi was born February 21, 1932 IN Effingham County, the daughter of Ben and Cleo (Arnold) Peters. She married William "Bill" Sehi in 1951.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Montrose. She was also a 1950 graduate of Effingham High School.

Surviving are her husband; sons, George (wife, Glenda) and Shawn (wife , Alicia) both of Montrose; daughters, Mrs. Mike (Deborah) Ruholl of Montrose, Mrs. Tom (Donna) Rieman of Edgewood, Mrs. Bruce (Cynthia "Cindy") Lidy of Elliottstown, Mrs. Norbert (Angela) Thoele of Teutopolis; brother, Isaac Peters of Effingham; sisters, Joyce Mietzner of Effingham, Jewel Bloemker of Dieterich; 27 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
