On 4 Oct 1930, Janet Mauchline, age 23 and waitress, married Richard Arnold Sampson, age 27 and dairyman, at 2532 Yew Street, Vancouver, B.C. One of the witnesses was Jean Rae Mauchline. Their religious affiliation was with the United Church. At the time she was married, she lived at 1241 Georgia St, W. Vancouver, B.C.

Note: Possible confusion on the spelling of her middle name as her birth certificate has "Stewart", but her death certificate has "Stuart". No problem, she signed her marriage certificate with "Stewart".
