On July 12, 1906, Marion Semple, dressmaker, married William Mauchline (1879-1960), Master Painter, at Swinhill, Dalserf, Lanarkshire, Scotland. They became the parents of Janet Stewart (Mauchline) Sampson (1907-1986); William Henry Semple Mauchline (1911-1985) and Margarett Elizabeth (Mauchline) Lins (1919-2000). Janet was born in Scotland, whereas William and Margaret were born in B.C., Canada.
Around 1910, the young Mauchline family emigrated from Scotland to Canada, as Marion lived in Canada for a total of 45 years.
