She is the sister of William Semple (1871-1944); Jane Campbell (Semple) Whitelaw (1872-1953); Janet (Semple) Lang (1876-1953); John Semple (1879-1941); Henry Semple, Sr (1881-1953); Thomas Semple (1886-1953); Agnes Nancy (Semple) Haddon (1889-1974) and Isabella "Isabel" Semple (1891-1969).
On July 12, 1906, Marion Semple, dressmaker, married William Mauchline (1879-1960), Master Painter, at Swinhill, Dalserf, Lanarkshire, Scotland. They became the parents of Janet Stewart (Mauchline) Sampson (1907-1986); William Henry Semple Mauchline (1911-1985) and Margarett Elizabeth (Mauchline) Lins (1919-2000). Janet was born in Scotland, whereas William and Margaret were born in B.C., Canada.
Around 1910, the young Mauchline family emigrated from Scotland to Canada, as Marion lived in Canada for a total of 45 years.
On January 23, 1955, Scottish born Marion (Semple) Mauchline of Fruitvale, B.C., age 71, died of carcinoma of the stomach at Trail Tadanac Hospital, Trail, B.C. Son-in-law, Keith W. Morris of 217341-58A Ave, Cloverdale, BC, was informant. Her husband and informant was William Mauchline of Fruitvale, B.C.
