Jean Drummond Married James Murray, 2nd Duke of Athol, KT PC on 7 May 1749 (She mar. (2) 2 Sep 1767 Gen Lord Adam Gordon (dsp. 13 Aug 1801), 4th son of Alexander [Gordon], 2nd Duke of Gordon; dsp. 22 Feb 1795), only dau. of John Drummond, 10th of Lennoch and 3rd of Megginch, by his wife Bethia Murray, dau. of James Murray of Dencar

She apparently jilted Adam Austin MD, whose portrait is at the Royal Colleg of Physicians. He wrote the song "For lack of gold she left me".
