Jean de Créquy , (c. 1395 - 1474 ), was lord of Créquy to Canaples and Fressin , Knight of the Order of the Golden Fleece ( 24 th patent in 1430 when the first class of the Order ), chamberlain of the duke of Burgundy .
He was the son of John IV (v.1366-1411), lord of Créquy, Fressin and Canaples, and Jeanne de Roye (v.1375-1434).
He was in the service of the Duke of Burgundy Philip III the Good . He took part in the defense of Paris against Joan of Arc in 1429 , and was ambassador of Aragon and France .
He married in 1456 Louise de La Tour d'Auvergne († 1469), daughter of Bertrand V of La Tour d'Auvergne and Jacquette du Peschin († 21/09/1473), and had:
