About Jehu Baker
Where is proof that he is father of Jane Kirton?
Father-online trees state father is Hicks and mother is Reeves/Rives. Why the name change from Hicks to Baker? But there are several DNA matches to others with Hicks/Reeves in their trees (Harriet Fenlon). Just have to prove that it is along this Baker line.
Census
- 1830, Jehu Baker, Williamsburg Co. with older daughter 20-30 years old
Phillip Kirton, uncle to Pvt Daniel Kirton, bought land on Baker Swamp. Could this be the same Baker family? Listed in 1775 map
