MEMORIAL PHOTOS 3 FLOWERS 4 Jemima Collins Alexander, a resident for many years of Bay Minette, Alabama died Sunday night at the home of her son, William Silsbee Alexander. Mrs Alexander was in her ninety-third year, being born at Lomax, Alabama in 1851. Her parents were James and Martha Collins. While living at Lomax she was married to William Martin Alexander on Christmas day in 1867. From Lomax they moved to Texas, and after returning to Alabama they lived at Dolive many years where Mr. Alexander was interested in the sawmill business. After Mr Alexander's death, Mrs Alexander lived with her children, the past few years being spent here in the home of her son, William Silsbee Alexander. Funeral services were held at the residence, the Reverend Wilson Rowe of the Presbyterian Church conducting the services. Mrs Alexander was a member of the Presbyterian Church for many years. Interment was in the Baty Minette Cemetery with the following pallbearers: L. J. Hooper, Ludie Scarbrough, C. C. Hand, O. H. Ertzinger, Mr Dobbs and Roy Emmons. A profusion of handsome floral designs covered the grave. The deceased is survived by three daughters and two sons, Mrs Mamie Evans of Pensacola, Fl, Mrs G. W. Gentrry of Calvert and Mrs I. E. Heaton, W.S. Alexander of Bay Minette, Al, and J. P. Alexander of Pensacola, Fl, and one sister Mrs JW. Hays of Thorsby.
