+758 Jeremiah /7, b. Jan. 9, 1812; d. Oregon, 1879; m. Helen Maria Hawks, March 14, 1837. Resided Oregon.

+758 Jeremiah /7 Lamson (Silas /6. Nathaniel /5 Thomas /4, Thomas /3 John /2 William /1, was born in Sterling, Mass., Jan. 9, 1812, and died Oct. 14, 1879. He married Helen Mariah Hawks, March 14, 1837. She was born Nov. 8, 18 12, and died Nov, 16, 1892.

Jeremiah Lamson lived for some years in Burlington, la., but pushed on west about 1848. He crossed the plains with ox-carts, and though many of the pioneers of those days perished enroute he made a successful journey, and reached Oregon safely, and settled there, on a large farm in Willamette County. For some time he lived in a log house. He was for years a government contractor, furnishing beef for an Indian reservation. He was one of the most active business men in that section.
