Jess Orville Henson was the son of Alfred Oliver Henson 1848 – 1908 and Margaret Hesteranne "Hester" Fain 1846 – 1906. His siblings were: Martha Mattie Jane Henson 1872 – 1910; Dora Henson 1873; John Christopher Columbus Henson 1874 – 1949; Susan Henson 1877 – 1878; James HENSON 1879 – 1880; James Walter Henson 1879 – 194; Minerva Henson 1880; Margaret Maggie Jo HENSON 1885 – 1957 and George William HENSON 1888 – 1912.

In 1913 Jess chose Clara Frances Johnson to be his bride. From this marriage the following sons were born: George Ellis Henson 1914 – 1962; James Orval Henson 1915 – 1979; Lloyd Ernest Henson 1917 – 2007; Bert Oliver Henson 1919 – 1980' Harlen Glen Henson 1921 – 1952 and Clyde Alonzo Henson 1928 – 1982.

In the 1920 census Jess and Clare Francis (called Fannie) were living on a farm in rural Burton, McIntosh, Oklahoma. Their first 4 children had been born.

In 1930 the census revealed that Jess and Fannie rented their home and farm land. Five of their sons were in school and Alonzo was just a toddler.

Their is no more documentation on Fannie and Jess until their deaths, but following the lives of their sons, a little of what was happening in their became evident.

About 1934 Fannie and Jess's oldest son George married a girl names Stella and moved to Okemah, Okfuskee, Oklahoma, from this marriage Fannie and Jess received at least 3 grandchildren He died on 09 Feb 1962 in San Joaquin Co., CA. No find a grave memorial has been found for him, as yet.

On August 21, 1935, there was another marriage in the family Lloyd married Floy Inez Jones, in Okemah, Okfuskee, Oklahoma. From this marriage they had at least 8 grand children. Find A Grave Memorial# 20374846.

Oliver married and had at least 1 child. The only information on him is that he passed away in Fresno Co. CA on April 19, 1980 and a Find a Grave memorial #34652188, is a source of his demise.

Military sources reveal Harlan Glen Henson a married man, enlisted in the US Army on Aug. 4 1942, and served during WWII. but family sources reveal that he had at least 3 children. He was a country/western singer and made and sold several records. He passed away in Fresno Co. CA. on July 26, 1952 and is buried in the Liberty Cemetery in Clovis, CA. Clyde Alonzo Henson, the last son born to Fannie and Jess enlisted in the US Army are served from 8 May 1947 until 26 Mar 1948. ON Sept 9, 1972 he married Diana R Holder in Imperial Co., CA. There are 4 sources that reveal his death on Aug. 16, 1982 in Clovis, Fresno Co., CA.

Jess Orval Henson passed away on April 30, 1971 in Antlers, Pushmataha, Oklahoma, United States His death certificate revealed that he was divorced. There is no documentation to reveal when he and Fannie divorced.

Jess's death certificate revealed that he passed away in the Antlers Nursing Home in the city of Antlers, Pushmataha Co., Oklahoma. He had been suffering from Cancer of the throat, although the cause of his death was pneumonia. The informant was his son, James Hansen, who lived in Antlers. A burial plot was selected for him in the Antlers City Cemetery, Antlers, Pushmataha County, Oklahoma, where he now rests in Peace. (bio by Audrey DeCamp Hoffman.)
