3.JESSE HUDSON PURSLEY 1.HUDSON PURSLEY

   Jesse Hudson Pursley, a son of Hudson and Elizabeth (Short) Pursley, was born in Botetourt County VA March 12, 1853 and died in Roane County WV in 1914.  He came to Roane County WV in 1866.  He married Louisa Snider in Roane County in 1877.  Louisa was born in Doddridge County VA (WV) about 1855 and died in Roane County in 1929.
