About Jim W. Bradley
James Wesley Bradley, 73, of 1000 S. Sixth, Quincy, died at 4:20 p.m. Saturday (March 26, 2011) in his home.
He was born Sept. 15, 1937, in Quincy, a son of James and Anna Gallaher Bradley. In January 1956, he married Mary Newberry in Quincy. She survives.
James served 12 years in the U. S. Army Reserves. He was employed by Bueter's Bakery for 20 years, and for 25 years in the underground warehouses for J.M. Huber until his retirement. James most recently worked part time for CarQuest. He enjoyed spending time outdoors in the country.
Survivors in addition to his wife include three children, Diana Lynn Bradley and Richard Edward Bradley, both of Quincy, and Robert William (Oona) Bradley of Iowa City, Iowa; three grandchildren, Megan Bradley and George Bradley of Quincy, and Wesley Bradley of Iowa City; and a sister, Doris (Jack) Cleek of Sacramento, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Wesley James Bradley; and a sister, Betty Edgecomb.
