About Joan Irene Danser- Wiles
Joan Irene Hawkins and Robert Christopher Newton met in World War II . She was an army nurse and he was a prisoner of war out of Egypt. The story she shared with me is that she heard the still small voice say turn around there is your husband. She married Robert Christopher Newton shortly after that they had Diana Newton, David Newton, and Angelina Newton. When the Children were 8,7, and 5 years old they moved to Rhodesia. Her husband Robert Newton passed on in Rhodesia. She remarried and his name is Curry. I am not sure what the full name is, after 17 years she left him and Rhodesia. She moved to New Jersey and met John Danser who became her husband for 15 years . They both moved to Perth , Western Australia. John Danser passed on in 1995. This was the man I knew as my grandpa. A year later she married a man named John Wiles a man she knew for 30 years. He passed on and a year later she passed on in Kelmscott, Western Australia. Her name when she passed on was Joan Irene Danser Wiles.
