Elsewhere her name is listed as Joane Fowell. Jane and Joane may simply be variants of what she was called.

Also, her mother is there named Elizabeth, rather than Mary. Since those names often go together (e.g., Mary Elizabeth) we are not faced with a necessary contradiction. However, both Joane's mother (Elizabeth Edgecombe) and her father (Richard Fowhil, of Fowhilscombe) are listed there. But the rest of the data about Elizabeth Edgecombe does not seem compatible with Jane/Joane's mother Mary that is listed here.
