About Johanna Banach
I am not sure of the spelling of her name. On the 1910 Adams County census it says Joannah. On the info I found about her marraige it says Joanna. On the burial info it shows Johanna. She was 6 ft tall ! In our family history it shows her birthplace as Schondorf , Poland. But when I put Schondorf in this Geni... is only gives two options, Germany and Austria. My husband says that it was probably part of Poland at the time she was living, and is now Germany. She moved from Poland around 1872, to Wisconsin. I found that on the 1910 census from Adam's County, Lincoln Township. http://www.usgwarchives.org/wi/adams/census/1910/07-02b.gif John and Johanna came from Poland in the same year ( from what I can gather on the census). They were married in 1884. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wispags/resources/mar-groom-a-b.html
She had 9 children, but one died young.
The family moved to Burnett Co. Wi. to the town of Scott, sometime between 1910 and 1915, where they owned land. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wiburnet/platbook/40n14w.htm
She is buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery along with most of the family.
( around Spooner in the town of Scott) . Here was the info I found about the burial.
